These are random but I figure I should have this in writing so I don’t forget. Imma make this my year!

Hot Chocolate

One of the best thing about winter is hot chocolate. I like to consider myself a hot chocolate connoisseur. I’ve tried a variety of types: packets of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, from chocolate shavings, Mexican hot cocoa, peppermint infused hot chocolate. I love them all.

My favorite thing about hot chocolate other than holding the warm mug: the whipped cream. I am up there with Leslie Knope with my ridiculous love of whipped cream.  I cannot help myself when I see a can of whipped cream, I have to pour it directly into my mouth.

As far as my hot chocolate goes, I prefer a 1:1 ratio or a 1:2 ratio, hot chocolate to whipped cream. Or just an entire mug of whipped cream which works too. As a result of my desired ratio, I always participate in a belgian dip.

What is your favorite brand of hot chocolate?

DSC_0049I love Penzey’s Hint of mint and regular hot chocolate. Williams Sonoma makes great hot chocolate as well. They have a new type out this year with salted caramel.

Sugar Scrub

My favorite sugar scrub recipe:

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup cane sugar

Lavender essential oil

Dried Lavender

Sunflower oil

Coconut Oil

This is ridiculously easy to make and use. It exfoliates your dead skin away and moisturizes the shit out of what’s left. My hands are so smooth after using it that I rub my hands constantly, making myself look like a creeper a la Montgomery Burns. I’m okay with it.
